SFHT supports people in a range of supported living settings. The wants and needs of the people we support are determined through Person Centred approaches and individual packages of support are designed for each person. No two services look the same. |

People are involved in agreeing their pattern of support and in all stages of choosing who will support them. A key role of a staff member is to support the individual to be a good tenant. People negotiate with staff about when they have their support — for example, they may wish to bank hours for support on holiday.

We are developing local networks of Supported Living services that focus on building strong local supports and helping people become valued citizens within their local communities; leading ordinary lives, gaining from and contributing to their community.

SFHT aspires to achieve the REACH standards for Supported Living:
- I choose who I live with
- I choose where I live
- I have my own home
- I choose how I am supported
- I choose who supports me
- I get good support
- I choose my friends and relationships
- I choose how to be healthy and safe
- I choose how I take part in my community
- I have the same rights and responsibilities as other citizens
- I get help to make changes in my life
