The Stable Family Home Trust has one registered Residential Care Home in the village of Bisterne near Ringwood, Hampshire. The home sits within beautiful and very spacious gardens and is ideal for people who enjoy countryside living.
The support services provided by SFHT are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and registered to provide personal care to the people we support.
Our residential service provides a twenty four hour service with a staff member sleeping in each night.
People are supported to choose what they do during the day, this may be attending college courses, employment or day opportunities. We have a dedicated vehicle to allow people to access the local and wider community and activities. During weekdays, daytime service ratios are arranged dependent on what people are doing and where they need support whether home or out and about.
People living in the service may be sharing a home but are not expected to share their lifestyles. Staff support individuals with a person-centred approach that focuses on what is important to them and identifies their wants, needs and aspirations. We aim to support people to achieve these.
